What if freedom consisted in being able to enjoy time? What if pleasure consisted in being able to stand back, to appropriate space, to relearn how to breathe - all the essentials we sorely lack? Let's hope that as long as we have these moments of creation, nothing will be completely lost.
MEDIUMS
Mainly pigments, with tar, gesso, oil, acrylic, pastels, pencils... on canvas, cardboard, wood, paper. But whatever the medium, whatever the material means used, as long as there's the exhilaration of the moment.
QUID
Between abstraction and figuration, these paintings are the fruit of many dualities; a mixture of calm/tumult, conscious/unconscious, anxiety/peace, past/present...
